Thank you to the Community for a successful National Night Out as we work to promote police and citizen camaraderie in the City of Mission! Our Mission Police Officers proclaim Tuesday, August 1st, to be National Night Out in the City of Mission! On that evening, residents are invited to join us at our Leo Peña Placita Park for the 22nd Annual National Night Out as Police and the Community unite to stomp out crime in Mission! Enjoy entertainment, kiddie rides, food booths, and raffles. Plus, our Mission Crime Stoppers will hand out free school supplies! 6PM to 10PM, Tuesday, August 1st. See you there! Mission TX – Mission Historical Museum – “Afro-Mexican Spaces and Legacies on the Lower Rio Grande” Our Mayor Beto Salinas was honored to be the first guest interviewed on the new set of Noticias Valle del Rio Grande. Mayor Salinas spoke about the City of Mission’s Community Development Block Grant Program during the Nuestra Comunidad Segment. Teens from our Boys and Girls Club of Mission challenged our Mission Police Officers to a friendly game of basketball!
