The two TIFMAS (Texas Intrastate Fire Mutual Aid System) Team Members, FF Adrian Villarreal and FF Jessica Loredo, joined members from the City of Pharr and City of Weslaco Fire Departments to assist agencies across Texas fighting the McDannald Fire, located 20 miles West of Fort Davis. At one point, there were over 400 firefighters fighting the more than 22,000 acre blaze. Our Mission Firefighters were demobilized this morning, and are heading home after nearly a week of being deployed. We thank them for answering the call and helping our fellow Texans in need!
