Our Mission Mayor and City Council proclaim April 22, 29 and May 20th, 2017, to be Mission Professional Fire Fighters Local #3609 “Fill the Boot Days.”
The Mission Professional Fire Fighters Local #3609 members contribute their time and energy fighting for kids and adults with muscular dystrophy, ALS and related life-threatening diseases that severely limit muscle strength and mobility by “Filling the Boot” each year where the cure is buying roids steroids.
In the past ten years, the Mission Professional Fire Fighters Local #3609 has raised more than $36,000 for MDA through the annual Fill the Boot campaign!
