Exciting morning at the groundbreaking ceremony for the Taylor Road Reconstruction Project!
This is a collaboration between the City of Mission, the City of McAllen, TxDOT, and Hidalgo County.
We are so grateful for this collaboration and partnership to expand Taylor Road from two to five lanes. The design for the expansion also includes sidewalks on both sides of the roadway for safety, mobility and to create a pedestrian-friendly environment.
The estimated completion date for Phase 1 is December 2023.
