Today, the Mission Police Department proudly hosted our annual Police Memorial Ceremony as part of National Police Week. It was a solemn and powerful day of remembrance as we honored the fallen heroes who gave their lives in the line of duty. Their sacrifice and courage will never be forgotten. We extend our deepest gratitude to everyone who came out to support us—especially our partners from local, state, and federal agencies, as well as members of our community. Your presence and solidarity mean more than words can express. As we continue to reflect on the lives lost and the service given, we remain committed to honoring their legacy through our actions, our duty, and our unity. Mission comes together to celebrate Earth Day! 🌎 We kick off the morning with our 1st Annual Earth Day 5K, powered by Keep Mission Beautiful — bringing together families, runners, and volunteers to promote health and environmental awareness. At the same time, City of Mission Sanitation Department hosts the Community Roundup, where residents bring in old tires, furniture, appliances, and other bulky items for proper disposal.
