There’s a new police unit in Mission! Thanks to the Rio Grande Valley Texas Anti-Gang Grant, the Mission Police Department, Hidalgo County Sheriff’s Department, Edinburg Police Department, and Weslaco Police Department are now equipped with new Armored Personnel Carrier Units to enhance community safety. This was a fantastic collaboration between our local, state, and federal partners.

On Tuesday, March 26, 2024, the Mission Fire Department hosted an Ambulance Push-In Ceremony & Open House. Medic-3 will be at Station #3 and available to provide EMS services to the community at all hours. We are proud of our fire-based EMS!
