The Mission Police Department held an unveiling ceremony for the “Safety Zone,” located in the front parking lot of the police department, to provide citizens a safe place to exchange items purchased online or conduct child custodial exchanges. The zone, marked by a sign, is well-lit and under 24-hour surveillance.
