The Mission Police Department is hosting a memorial ceremony to commemorate National Police Week.
The organization is paying tribute to Mission Police Officers Jose Luis “Speedy” Espericueta Jr., Jorge Cabrera, Humberto Javier Avila and Fulgencio Velasco III. They’re also recognizing the numerous first responders across the RGV and our country who have lost their lives in the line of duty for the safety and protection of others.
