Mission City Manager Martin Garza and Mission Public Works Director Robert Salinas took Texas Water Development Board Member Kathleen Jackson on a tour of the City of Mission’s expanding waste water treatment plant. Mission is currently expanding its treatment plant for future capacity and growth – with an estimated completion date in May. The expansion – which includes a reusable water component to water our Bentsen Palm Regional Park on South Inspiration and our Industrial Park – is 83 percent complete. During the tour, the group also discussed future sewer and water infrastructure projects planned for the City of Mission.
