He was laid to rest at the RGV State Veterans Cemetery. A call went out after no next of kin was located for the serviceman. Mission crews set flags out leading up to the cemetery in honor of the unaccompanied veteran. #NoVeteranLeftBehind Boys & Girls Club of Mission held its Basketball Awards Ceremony for their 2019 season at Mission Veterans HS gymnasium. Our Mission Fire Department just received a $10,000 donation from ADT and USAA for their lifesaving efforts. 90-year-old Bob Hensley was rescued by neighbors, and first responders after a fire broke out at his home in December. Hensley met with his rescuers and the ADT dispatcher who took the call for the first time today. #Heroes THIS! 🙌 McAllen ISD soccer Coach Manny Garcia walked his first unofficial 5k at our Community Bike Ride last night. In 2014, he suffered an aneurysm which nearly killed him. Doctors told him only about 1 in 100 patients survive.
