The City of Mission ranks as the safest city in the RGV and among the safest cities in the state – according to FBI crime stats, crime types, and crime trends released by safe home.org! The City of Mission comes in as the number 23rd safest city in Texas, and the number one safest city in the Valley. Pharr came in at number 25, followed by McAllen (34), Harlingen (37), Brownsville (54) and Edinburg (60).
