Vehicle maintenance is performed under contract by First Vehicle Services. First Vehicle Services and the City of Mission, Texas have proudly partnered since 1994. First Vehicle Services maintains approximately 250 vehicles & large equipment. First Vehicle Services provides fleet management and maintenance of administrative sedans and light trucks, medium and heavy trucks, heavy specialized and construction equipment, and marked and unmarked police vehicles.

First Vehicle Services’ objective is to provide economical repairs for vehicles with minimal turnaround or down time. Founded in 1978, First Vehicle Services is the largest commercial provider of fleet management and maintenance services to local governments and authorities in the United States and Puerto Rico today. In delivering fleet services to municipalities, counties, utilities, and transit authorities, First Vehicle Services have developed and tailored operating systems, programs, and procedures that are responsive to the special needs of service delivery to and on behalf of local governments and quasi-governmental entities. In it operations, First Vehicle Services is responsible for the maintenance, repair and management of more than 35,000 vehicles and pieces of equipment. The fleets for which First Vehicle Services provides these services range in size from under 100 to 2,500 vehicles.
