The City of Mission’s “No Smoking Ordinance” has taken effect.

Mission Mayor Beto Salinas and our Mission City Council voted unanimously to make Mission smoke-free, passing a comprehensive Smoke-Free Ordinance. The Ordinance went into effect 90 days from the date (June 27, 2016). The City of Mission and our Mission Police Department say goodbye to K9 Officer Tiko.

Officer Tiko served our City for 10 years, and was responsible for numerous drug and money seizures, and made numerous appearances at Mission schools for presentations on drug awareness, learn more about it here.
