The City of Mission has a designated location for residents to dispose of their Christmas trees.
City of Mission Residents can drop-off their Christmas trees at our Sanitation Department, located at 105 Abelino Farias Street, Monday through Saturday (8AM-5PM), throughout the month of January. Mission will recycle the trees for mulch. -
We would like to thank the Community for the outpouring of support after the passing of Mission Mayor Pro-Tem Norie Garza’s husband.
Oscar Garza, a beloved public servant of Mission, tragically died in an auto-pedestrian accident, Thursday morning. We ask the Community to keep the Garza family in your prayers. -
Mission children take part in a $10,000 dollar shopping spree at Target!
More than 100 kids in Mission took part in the $10,000 dollar shopping spree with Mission Police Officers and Firefighters at Target! Target provided 100 children, $100 dollars worth of Christmas toys each, for a total of $10,000 dollars! Our Mission Police Department identified children in the Community who could most benefit from the shopping spree. If y...
