In preparation for Spring Break, students at our Sharyland Pioneer High School held a mock drunk driving crash.
The purpose of the mock crash was to show students the consequences of choosing to drink and drive. Our Mission Police and Fire Departments took part in the mock crash, along with District Attorney Ricardo Rodriguez, Jr, Texas DPS, and Mothers Against Drunk Driving. MISSION SWIMMERS: We have some upcoming pool closures.
Both Mission Pools will be closed Monday, February 20th, for President’s Day. Bannworth Pool will also be closed Saturday, February 25th, for a swim meet. -

The City of Mission held its annual Mega Winter Texan Fiesta at our Leo Peña Placita Park to celebrate and recognize our RGV Winter Residents!
This year’s Mega Winter Texan Fiesta was a two-day event, that kicked-off with a “Fiesta on the Greens” at our Shary Municipal Golf Course.
