MISSION RESIDENTS: The City of Mission has partnered with the SBA Federal Disaster Assistance Program and will host a Forum on Wednesday, July 18th, at our Mission Events Center from 5:30PM – 7:30PM.
Residents are invited to attend and learn about assistance which can be obtained through SBA, FEMA and other agencies. Our City of Mission Mayor Dr. Armando O’Caña and City Manager Martin Garza met with Emergency Management Coordinators from across the County and FEMA Representatives to discuss the more than 60 FEMA Agents who will be going door to door to help citizens needing assistance from the recent storms.
More than 2,000 RGV residents have already applied online for FEMA Assistance by visiting disasterassistance.gov and entering their information.
