The City of Mission will hold a memorial service for our Mission Police K9 – K9 Cezar – who passed away earlier this month after a prolonged illness:
Mission, TX- A memorial service will be held to honor Mission Police Department’s K9 Cezar. He passed away March 5, 2019 after bravely battling a lengthy illness. K9 Cezar spent the last of his days with his loving handler.
The narcotics and tracking canine faithfully served the department for eight years. He retired in June of 2017. Police say he had outstanding tracking skills and was a valuable asset for narcotics detection.
The service will be held Wed. March 20, 2019 at 10:00 a.m. at the Mission City Council chambers. The ceremony is open to the public.
