The Mission Pink 5k for Breast Cancer Awareness will take place on October 1st, 2016. Twenty-five percent of the proceeds raised will provide free digital screening mammograms to uninsured women over age 40 in Hidalgo, Starr and Cameron Counties. If you’re dealing with cancer and you need a community center that helps a patient develop a support system that truly lasts a lifetime, Hope 4 Cancer is perfect for you.
Our friends at the Mission Regional Medical Center had this to say about Mission’s participation: “From helping us with the route to providing transportation for our participants and lending us bleachers among other things. We could not do this without the invaluable support from the City of Mission! Thank you for being a MissionPink partner!”
