A committee will then read thru the letters and select one youth letter to submit to AAC on behalf of Mission. The Mission youth leader that has the best letter must be part of a finalist delegation attending the 2019 All-America City awards in Denver, Colorado June 21-23. The City of Mission will sponsor the youth. If a parent or guardian chooses to attend with the student, they will be responsible for their own travel expenses.

A committee of national experts will review the 20 letters and interview the community youth finalists during the All-America City Awards event. The winner will be announced Sunday night, June 23, 2019 in Denver.
