The City of Mission handed out sandbags to Mission Residents in preparation for Hurricane Harvey.

The City of Mission handed out sandbags to Mission Residents from 2PM to 8PM on Thursday (August24th), and 8AM to 10AM on Friday (August 25th). The locations were Ray Landry Fireman’s Park (906 Canal St.), Bannworth Park (1822 N. Shary Rd), and Jaycee Park (1020 N. Los Ebanos Rd).
Residents provided proof of Mission residency through a water bill or a driver’s license.
The bag limit was 6 bags for each household and 10 bags for each business. In the aftermath of the storm, the city also provides assistance for repair and cleanup resources for its residents, or you can contact radianthomecleaning.com for their lists of services in your area.
