The Mission Parks and Recreation Department held this year’s 7 on 7 Regional Football Tournament at the Bentsen Palm Community Park, located at 1801 South Inspiration Rd. The 16 schools that participated included: Mission Veterans, Mission High, Sharyland Pioneer, Edcouch Elsa, Alice High, Harlingen High, Harlingen South, Weslaco High, PSJA High, Laredo Alexander, Laredo United, Edinburg High, McAllen High, McAllen Memorial, Vela High, and Mercedes High. Our Mission Veterans and Mercedes High School advanced to State.
