Apply for Census 2020 jobs near Mission: U.S. Census seeking employees in the McAllen commuting area.
Mission, TX– The U.S. Census Bureau is hiring in the Mission area for the 2020 census. The temporary census jobs offer excellent pay, flexible hours and paid training.
“Health, economic development, employment opportunities, education, housing, transportation and federal funding allocations are just a few reasons why the census is so important to our city,” Mayor Dr. Armando O’Caña said. “We need folks to fill these positions to make a difference in our community. Together we count!”
In order to be considered for the census positions, all applicants must reside in the local commuting area around McAllen. Currently, there are listings for: Lead Census Field Manager; Administrative Manager; and Area Census Office Manager.
“We need our residents and all our region to participate in the census to ensure that we get the right number of representation in government and that we get equitable distribution of public funds,” Mayor O’Caña said. “It is our civic duty to be counted!”
If selected, candidates will have to undergo a mandatory background check before beginning. Salaries are non-negotiable.
