The results are in from the Battle of the Badges Community Blood Drive that took place at our Mission City Hall on Monday – and the winner is: OUR MISSION FIRE DEPARTMENT! Congratulations to everyone who participated! It was a close race – in fact, our Fire Department took the win over the Police Department by only 6 votes! BUT, the real winners are the countless patients across the Valley who will receive life saving blood thanks to all of the donors who packed City Hall throughout the day! The City surpassed its goal and collected the highest amount of units ever donated at the City of Mission, and all of the blood collected will be making its way to our local hospitals in the next few days.
