Dozens of Jr. High Students from across Texas are volunteering their time and efforts at our Boys and Girls Club of Mission.
-
The students, who are on a mission trip, are part of the non-profit organization “United Methodist Action Reach-Out Mission By Youth” or U.M. ARMY. The 39 volunteers are spending several days at the First United Methodist Church in Mission. They are laying tiles and building cabinets at the Boys and Girls Club of Mission, as well as cleaning, gardening and taking part in construction projects at the Church. The teens are also constructing hand powered 3-wheelers for paraplegics in Mexico. We appreciate all that they are doing to help our community!
