With the possibility of rain in the forecast for Tuesday and Wednesday, the City of Mission is taking a proactive approach – opening a sandbag fill station at Fireman’s Park at the corner of Canal St and Business 83 from 8:30am to 7:30pm, Monday. Limit is 7 per resident and 10 per business. Please bring a City of Mission water bill for address verification.

A special breakfast was held in Mission in honor of first responders. Law enforcement officers, firefighters and medics from across Hidalgo County were treated to a meal, some music and prayers. #WeLoveOurFirstResponders
