Mission, TX- The Mission Police Department in partnership with the Mission Consolidated Independent School District will host a press conference at 3 p.m. TODAY to address a social media comment about an alleged act of violence at Mission Veterans Memorial High School. While there is nothing to substantiate a credible threat to the campus, all these reports are taken seriously and there have been developments in the case. A person has been detained and details will be released at the press conference.

The Mission Police Department works closely with our local school districts and will continue to keep schools as safe as possible for students and staff.
