The Valley’s first “MASH Initiative,” or mobile transport of animals, kicked off in the City of Mission! People living in the Mission area (or surrounding areas), who wanted to have their animals spayed or neutered, made a reservation with the RGV Low Cost Spay/Neuter Clinic, and then dropped their pets off at the Norberto “Beto” Salinas Park.
A transport team from the Clinic collected the pets at the park, brought them to the clinic for surgery, and returned them to the drop-off location the next day.
