About the IT Department
The Information Technology (IT) Department is dedicated to supporting the City of Mission’s mission through secure, efficient, and innovative technology services. We provide strategic planning, technical support, and system maintenance to ensure that all city departments can serve the community effectively. We currently support all departments to include Fire and Police.
Our Core Responsibilities:
- Infrastructure & Network Management: Maintain reliable and secure networks, servers, and communications systems.
- Cybersecurity: Protect city data and systems from unauthorized access and cyber threats.
- Help Desk & Technical Support: Provide responsive support for city staff to resolve hardware, software, and connectivity issues.
- Application & Systems Development: Manage and enhance software applications that improve operational efficiency and public service delivery.
- Technology Planning & Innovation: Support citywide goals through forward-thinking IT strategies and smart technology integration.
