Volunteers are needed to serve the less fortunate at our City of Mission’s Thanksgiving Table.
The City of Mission has taken over as host of what has been a 10-year tradition of offering free Thanksgiving meals to those in need on Thanksgiving Day – It’s called our THANKSGIVING TABLE!
Through work with the Mission Food Pantry, Housing Authority, and other social service agencies, Mission has identified more than 750 citizens who, without the Thanksgiving Table tradition, would not have a warm meal.
Numerous City staff and volunteers will serve the meals to the residents at Mission’s Social and Support Center (115 S. Mayberry Rd.), next to the Mission Food Pantry, from 11AM until 1PM, Thanksgiving Day.
