The City of Mission held a Firefighter Badge Pinning Ceremony to recognize four of our Mission Firefighters who have moved up the ladder with recent promotions.
Firefighter Robert Villalon completed his one year probation and received his Firefighter Badge, collar devices and helmet. Frank Chaires was promoted to Captain. Omar Salinas was promoted to Lieutenant. Samuel Carrion was promoted to Engineer.
Congrats to these four men – a Firefighter Badge is a symbol of honor and heritage bestowed by Heroes who have gone before.
The Mission Fire Department also recognized 16 Firefighters who completed the inaugural Fire Officer Development Course, which consisted of a year long process. Congrats to these 16 Firefighters on their accomplishments!
