Crews will now begin transforming the Park (located at Stewart Rd and E. 24th St.) – renovating existing tennis courts, building 13 new courts, revitalizing a 10-foot-wide walking trail, and adding water fountains, handicap-accessible exercise equipment and park benches. The new Mission Tennis Center will serve as a wellness center for not only our City, but for visitors who come and participate in the sport of tennis, as the new complex will provide the City opportunities to host major United States Tennis Association Tournaments. We are excited to break ground on a project that will add to the health and quality of life for the citizens of Mission!
