The City of Mission’s Operation Kops for Kids kicked off its 20TH YEAR at the Walgreens on Shary Road and Pecan (495) in Mission, Friday (Dec. 12), at 10AM, with a Toy Drive!
City of Mission leaders and staff, Mission Police Officers, Mission Firefighters, and Mission Crime Stoppers, gathered to collect donated toys. Residents and Walgreens shoppers dropped off new toys for children, ranging in age from newborn to 12 years old.
The toys will be given to more than a thousand children in our community who, otherwise, might not get a Christmas present.
