Mission PD to host Crime Victims’ Ceremony – One mile walk & tree lighting ceremony will highlight event
Mission Police Department is hosting a remembrance walk and ceremony in recognition of National Crime Victims’ Rights Week. Join Mission city leaders and first responders on Wednesday, April 27, as they honor victims and support survivors of crime.
A walk to honor victims will be held at 6 p.m., followed by a ceremony at approximately 6:45 p.m.
There will also be a special tree lighting ceremony to honor all victims. After the observance, the department will host an open house with community service agencies in attendance as well as free food and refreshments. The public is invited to attend.
