MISSION—U.S. Sen. John Cornyn, R-Texas, and U.S. Rep. Henry Cuellar, D-Texas, will host a press conference with local mayors, county judges and other elected officials from the Rio Grande Valley Friday, July 18, to discuss and build local support for the HUMANE Act, bipartisan legislation introduced by Sen. Cornyn and Rep. Cuellar to provide an immediate answer to the growing crisis on our southern border and much-needed resources to over-burdened border communities.
