Mission Economic Development CEO, Alex Meade to Speak at the Mission Chamber Buenas Tardes Luncheon
The Greater Mission Chamber of Commerce will host its summer quarter Buenas Tardes Luncheon, sponsored by The Buckner Foundation, on Wednesday, June 11, 2014, from noon – 1 p.m. at the Club at Cimarron. Join the Chamber for an informative hour, lunch and great networking with over 100 local professionals.
The keynote speaker at this event will be Mission Economic Development CEO, Alex Meade. The Buckner Foundation will be the title sponsor for the event.
For more than 40 years, Buckner has provided professional care in a loving, Christian environment to vulnerable children at the Rio Grande Children’s Home. Today Buckner recruits, trains and supports foster and adoptive families throughout Texas to care for children who have experienced family crisis or have a history of abuse, neglect or abandonment. The Buckner Family Hope Center in Penitas, Texas focuses on improving the lives of individuals and families who experience extreme poverty by providing critical aid, social services and support to keep families strong. Through dedicated case managers, Buckner helps meet the physical, emotional, vocational and spiritual needs of the community.

Tickets are only $20 per person if purchased before Tuesday, June 10th, tickets may be purchased at the door for $25.
