The City of Mission distributes more than 200 turkeys and Thanksgiving meals to families in need in our Community: Our City of Mission Mayor, Council, Police, Fire and City Staff distributed the complete Thanksgiving Day meals at our Mission Parks and Rec, as part of Mission’s “Day of Sharing – Thanksgiving Community Basket”! Schools and community partners identified low income families in need in our area, and several local businesses donated funds to help with the food purchases. Thanks to the generosity of our Community, families who otherwise would not, will now be able to enjoy warm Thanksgiving meals.
